Katarina Hoskins is a second-year BA Fine Art student at The Art Academy London. Her art draws on lived experiences across Slovakia, Austria, Bermuda, and the UK, where she has witnessed how women’s work—whether domestic labor, childcare, or professional ambitions—remains undervalued across vastly different cultural contexts.
Working in sculpture and installation, she emphasizes the inherent strength of femininity by transforming traditionally masculine materials—wood, steel, resin, bronze—into organic, feminine forms. Through this disruption of materiality and gender expectations, she creates space for women’s achievements to be celebrated.
